Our History

Bowers and Barr Ltd, founded in 1890 by Mr Bowers and Mr Barr, have been established in Great Yarmouth for over 100 years and serve top name clients throughout the UK. The offices Bowers and Barr occupy on 30A Hall Plain have been owned by the company since the 1940's, and actually dates back to the 1700's. The offices are within the Town's conservation area. Today the company is run by four partners, Alan Frosdick, Mike Coleman, Brian Brister, and Jean Rose - who took over the business in a management buyout in 1990.
